Newseed's Best of 2007
The obligatory end of the year retrospective
2007 was one of the best years comics have seen in quite a while. The number of must-read books coming out on smaller publishers increased dramatically, and while the superhero arena still found itself plagued by a number of high-profile failures it too went through a sort of renaissance. It was an eventful twelve months and looking back it's hard to not feel we've entered a period of positive change for the industry. It's an exciting time to be a comic reader.
